Module 3 is based on Cycle 3 of the EmpoweerNEET training in Lebanon. It gives young people practical tools to plan a small business or social initiative and manage its money with confidence.

What you will learn. By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • spot an opportunity in an everyday problem and design a value proposition for it;
  • complete an 11-block Social Business Model Canvas for your initiative;
  • build a simple budget, calculate break-even and explain cash-flow timing;
  • compare funding sources and plan for your key risks.

Inside the module: six sections (Entrepreneurial mindset · Value proposition · Social Business Model Canvas · Budgeting & financial literacy · Simple fundraising · Risk management), worked examples, short videos, and two Lebanese examples: Souk el Tayeb and the Al Atayeb women’s cooperative.

What you will produce: My Initiative Starter Pack, with your value proposition, Social Business Model Canvas, financial snapshot, funding plan and risk table.

Time and language: about 60 minutes, plus optional deep-dive lessons (about 70 minutes). In English, with worksheets, self-assessment and summary also in Arabic.
